Apple
- 1 green apple peeled, cored and finely sliced
- 1 tablespoon cane sugar
- ½ cup water
Crumble
- 1 tablespoon butter set at room temperature
- ½ cup plain unbleached flour
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup rolled oats
Apple
Core, peel and finely slice apple
Add to saucepan with sugar and water

Crumble
In a bowl, combine oats, flour and brown sugar.
Add the butter, and use fingers to rub together the mixture with the butter. Make sure the butter is evenly spread. The flour mixture should resemble breadcrumbs.
Assembly

Top apple with crumble mixture.
Place in oven for 15-20 minutes, or until crumble top is golden brown and crunchy.
