A quick, easy, delicious stewed apples recipe. Great topped on ice cream, on pancakes, or with breakfast.

apples

sugar

water
Instructions
Peel, and quarter your apples. Remove the core then finely slice them into even pieces.
Place apples, sugar and water in a medium sized saucepan.
Put onto medium heat, then bring to the boil for 7 minutes.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Use a wooden spoon to break up the apple a little bit.
Cool then store in an air tight container before using.
